One-Line Bio

I'm a 50-something, student of the bible and of life, motorcyclist, software designer, accountant, husband and father

In this blog I catalogue and share what I study. The blog started out in December 2008 in a very general way... talking about trips I had done on my bike; jokes; film and music reviews and some teaching articles. I enthusiastically blogged daily for a start then realised mid-year that was unrealistic and decided to stop. Then after 12 months I decided rather than quit to bring the focus on to teaching. Some of these articles are based around assignments I have done for the course I am doing part-time through Laidlaw College; others are teaching I have presented and some are just recording what I am studying and thinking about.

As you will see my passion is for getting to the heart of matters; seeing truth made accessible. As I struggle through these things I pray that they won't just be information but become part of my life and maybe they can inspire you too.

"Everyone who thirsts, come to the water; and you who have no money come, buy and eat... Why do you spend money on what is not bread, and your wages on what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance." Isaiah 55:1-2.
